Here we go....

Hello! My name is Holly Thomas and I am on the verge of embarking on a life changing experience. I will be traveling to Africa to educate the children of Ghana for three weeks. I am extremely excited to learn from the people of Ghana and to emerge myself in their culture. I am hoping that this blog will bring my experience to the people in my community and inspire them to give locally or globally.

A Wonderful friend of mine that I work with at Toledo Botanical Garden has volunteered to throw a GHANA party to help raise funds for my trip. She was kind enough to lend us her beautiful home off of Lake Erie for the festivities and to plan this fantastic party :) I am extremely excited and completely tickled that she would do this for me!
